B/M, 33 yrs old and the rest I'll leave to your imagination. Being in prison has given me the chance to see how people react under extremely stressful circumstances. Some arise to the occasion. The internal animal reigned in by self control, manners, honesty, respect, and strength of character. Others break down, go ballistic, become dishonest, or lose all sense of control, morals and ethics. You don't know how someone will take the heat...until you see them perform under fire... Character is ultimately revealed by what a person does, not what he says. A few of the most highly evolved among us may achieve perfect consistency between what we say about ourselves, and how we behave, but with most of us there is a gulf. There are time when people pretend to have characteristics, that their actions prove aren't there, but there's also diamonds in the rough, who's real beauty is hidden beneath their modest, self effacing ways. Very often the people least likely to blow their own horn are the most dedicated parents, hardest workers, and loyal friends, and it's their actions that prove it! Loyalty is not just a word, it's a Lifestyle... Even though I'm incarcerated, I'm still focused on my vision, making my challenges temporary but my vision permanent. So understand that nothing disturbs the trials of the present...Like the expectations of the future! Now tell me what's really good (Duck 46)
