Does trust have to be earned or is it a matter of faith? Granted, most of the people we meet, and some closest to us, tend to be gracious and friendly, but I sometimes wonder whether it’s just an attempt to keep up appearances.

When I relate to someone, I speak with love, of commitment (in all relationships), of patience, of honesty, and the importance of keeping God in our lives, sometimes with surprising eloquence and other times with the simple grace of a child.

I want that intoxicating feeling of day dreaming about “her” (really, you) while going through the rigors of daily life of receiving a long love letter, or a short note with the promise of lots of love. The laughs, tears, dreams, and fears. The warmth that can be us (don’t you?).

Say what’s on your mind. Once the burden of our respective “secrets” has been removed, we’ll have a valid excuse to lighten up and enjoy when the pieces that are our lives, fit together.

I’m only physically imprisoned for a short time, then I’ll be released. My heart is free, if you are willing to pay the price of postage.
